Florida Sales Associate Exam Prep
Help Students Prepare for the Next Step
Completing Florida’s required Sales Associate Pre-License education is an important accomplishment.
But for most students, finishing the course is not the final goal. They want to become licensed.
Between completing the required education and taking the state licensing examination comes another important stage: preparation.
Class Made Easy provides examination-preparation and supplemental study products that real estate schools can use to help students review what they have learned, reinforce important concepts, practice applying their knowledge, and prepare for the Florida Sales Associate licensing examination.
The Course Teaches the Material. Exam Prep Helps Students Review It.
Course Completion and Exam Preparation Are Different
A Pre-License course is designed to provide required real estate education.
Students learn about real property, license law, brokerage relationships, contracts, financing, valuation, mathematics, federal and state requirements, and many other subjects involved in real estate.
Exam preparation has a different purpose.
It gives students an opportunity to return to that material after it has been taught. Students can review important concepts, strengthen areas where they are less confident, work with questions, reinforce terminology, and continue studying before examination day.
The Challenge After the 63-Hour Course
A student can complete the 63-Hour Sales Associate Pre-License course and still have important questions about how to organize final examination preparation.
Different Students Need Different Ways to Review
There is no single study method that works equally well for every student. CME’s Sales Associate exam-preparation program can use multiple resources rather than relying upon one study product.
Three Study Tools. Three Different Jobs.
CME’s principal Sales Associate study products are designed to complement one another. A student may use one resource or combine several depending upon individual study needs and the educational package offered by the school.
Start Exam Preparation Before the Course Ends
Not every examination-preparation activity needs to wait until graduation.
Flashcards can reinforce vocabulary while students are taking the course. Practice questions can help students determine whether they understand material covered in individual sections.
Review products can also be introduced before the end of the course so students know which resources are available when they begin concentrated examination preparation.
This creates a smoother transition between learning the material and preparing to be tested on it.
Practice Applying What You Know
Knowing a definition and applying a concept are not always the same thing.
Mathematics Deserves Practice
Real estate mathematics can become easier with repetition.
Students may encounter calculations involving commissions, property taxes, prorations, financing, valuation, investment, area, and other real estate subjects during their education and examination preparation.
Reading a mathematical formula is different from applying it correctly.
Practice gives students an opportunity to work through calculations and become more comfortable identifying the information needed to solve a problem.
Learn Why an Answer Is Correct
Exam preparation becomes more valuable when students understand the reasoning behind an answer.
Simply memorizing that the answer to one particular practice question is a specific letter does little to prepare a student when the same concept appears in a different form.
Students should be encouraged to understand the underlying principle.
Don’t Memorize the Question. Learn the Concept.
That philosophy fits the larger Class Made Easy approach to real estate education: complicated material does not have to be complicated to teach or review.
Keep Students From Leaving Your Educational Program
When students finish their required course, many immediately begin searching for practice tests, flashcards, study guides, videos, and examination-preparation programs.
If the school does not provide those resources, another education provider will.
CME exam-preparation products give schools an opportunity to continue serving students during this next stage.
The school that taught the student can also become the school that helps the student prepare.
More Educational Value Can Mean More Business for the School
Exam preparation is valuable educationally, but it can also make business sense for the school.
A student who has already chosen the school for Pre-License education represents an existing customer relationship.
Additional educational products allow the school to continue serving that student rather than relying entirely upon the next new enrollment.
That can create additional educational revenue while providing students with resources they already need.
One Enrollment Can Be the Beginning of the Customer Relationship, Not the End.
The Relationship Can Continue After the Exam
Passing the licensing examination is another milestone, not the end of the student’s educational journey. A Sales Associate can potentially remain connected to the same school throughout an entire real estate career.
Exam Preparation Without Pass Guarantees
CME examination-preparation products are supplemental educational resources.
They do not replace required Florida Pre-License education, and no CME study product should be represented as guaranteeing that a student will pass the Florida real estate licensing examination.
Successful examination performance depends upon the student’s education, knowledge, preparation, study habits, ability to apply the material, and performance on examination day.
We Provide the Tools. The Student Still Has to Do the Work.
